OLCR Optical Biometry with Automated Acquisition
The AL-VIEW Lite optical biometer uses optical low-coherence reflectometry (OLCR) to acquire multiple ocular measurements in one workstation workflow. The system provides automatic eye search, automatic focus, automatic measurement and automatic eye-position change functions to support repeatable operator steps.
Ten Reported Ocular Parameters
One measurement session can report axial length (AL), central corneal thickness (CCT), anterior chamber depth (ACD), lens thickness (LT), vitreous thickness (VT), corneal diopter (K), astigmatism (AST), white-to-white (WTW), pupil diameter (PD) and eccentric distance (CWC). These parameters should be interpreted by trained eye-care professionals in the context of the intended examination and applicable protocol.
Measurement Ranges
The axial-length range is 14-33 mm, with repeatability of 0.025 mm or less. The corneal-diopter range is 36.21-50.60 D, with repeatability of 0.13 D or less. White-to-white ranges from 7-16 mm, pupil diameter from 2-13 mm and AST from 0°-180°. Repeatability values are 0.3 mm or less for WTW and PD and 2° or less for AST.
