Optics & control
Olympus SZX7 optics
Olympus SZX7 optics deliver high resolution and a deep depth of field for a clear, detailed view. The 10× wide-field eyepieces, 30° observation angle and adjustable interpupillary distance support a comfortable viewing position. An independent coaxial stereo assistant microscope offers 4× and 7× magnification.
Adjust X-Y positioning, focus and magnification from the foot switch. The main microscope offers 4×–20× motorized magnification, X-Y movement at 2.2 mm/s and ±20 mm focus adjustment, with a working distance of at least 170 mm.

Imaging accessories for your setup
An attachable beam splitter and video adapter can be combined with an HDMI camera to add video imaging to the microscope. These accessories are available as configuration options; inclusion is specified in your quotation.

Halogen or LED illumination
The SM-2000L offers a choice of LED illumination or a 15 V / 150 W halogen lamp, with illuminance of at least 80,000 lux for detailed ophthalmic work.

Is the microscope available with LED or halogen illumination?
Yes. The SM-2000L is offered with LED illumination or a 15 V / 150 W halogen lamp. Your quotation will identify the selected light source.
Are the camera and imaging adapters included?
The beam splitter, video adapter and HDMI camera are available as configuration options. Please specify the imaging setup you need when requesting a quotation.
What can be adjusted using the foot switch?
The foot control operates X-Y positioning, motorized focus and zoom. X-Y speed is 2.2 mm/s, with ±20 mm focus adjustment.
