The OCT-500 spectral-domain OCT system combines image acquisition, touch-screen operation and retinal analysis workflows in an all-in-one tabletop format.

Scan Performance

The system provides an axial resolution of ≤6 μm in tissue, a scan depth of ≥2.5 mm in air, a 6–12 mm scan range and a scan speed from at least 24,000 to as high as 36,000 A-scans per second. Scan modes include 3D for macular and optic-disc acquisition, HD, raster, circle and cross.

Acquisition and Analysis Workflow

Smart pupil alignment and signal optimization support the acquisition sequence. The software scope includes OCT en-face viewing, up to seven retinal-layer segmentations, macular analysis, RNFL and optic-disc analysis, and progress analysis for follow-up examinations. Display and Installation
