Multifunction Trial Frame for Precision Refraction
The UTF-T4880 Pro multifunction trial frame supports subjective refraction and trial-lens evaluation with independent controls for interpupillary distance, pupil height, vertex distance, lens axis, frame tilt and temple length. Its lightweight design helps eye-care professionals configure the frame for different patients while keeping the trial lenses aligned with the visual axis.
Independent PD and Lens-Axis Adjustment
Binocular PD adjusts from 50 to 80 mm, with independent monocular settings from 25 to 40 mm in 1 mm increments. Each lens ring rotates through 360 degrees, while the marked axis scales use 5-degree intervals to support repeatable axis positioning. The optical center should be aligned with the patient pupil before refraction.
Multi-Lens Capacity and Patient Fitting
Each side accepts up to five trial lenses through three front slots and two rear slots. The frame provides 0-19 mm pupil-height adjustment, up to 27 degrees of front and rear angle adjustment, and 0-30 mm temple-length adjustment. Four replaceable nose supports are supplied in documented widths of 10.5, 11.7, 16.1 and 18.2 mm for fitting different nose bridges.
Designed for Optometry and Ophthalmology Workflows
This adjustable trial lens frame is intended for refraction rooms, optometry practices, ophthalmology clinics, optical shops and training environments. The on-frame scales and dedicated adjustment knobs help the examiner set PD, vertex distance, pantoscopic angle and lens axis for the individual wearer.
Handling and Care
Use the UTF-T4880 Pro at room temperature in a dry, ventilated environment. Avoid strong vibration, impact and unauthorized disassembly. Keep the PD ruler and dividing discs clean with a soft cloth; do not use alcohol or alcohol-based liquid on the marked components. Follow the supplied instructions when fitting and adjusting the trial frame.
