4–20× continuous zoom
Turn the rotary knob to move continuously between a wider view and closer detail. Both optical configurations offer an 8–65 mm field of view.
Foot-controlled focusing
Make motorized focus adjustments from the foot pedal, with ±20 mm of travel—40 mm in total. Zoom remains manually controlled.
An assistant view included
A 7× assistant microscope is included with both the standard and OLYMPUS SZX51 configurations, providing a separate observation position.

Optics & observation
A choice of optics.
A shared viewing range.
Specify standard optics or the OLYMPUS SZX51 optical system. Both provide 4–20× manual continuous magnification and an 8–65 mm field of view, with an included 7× assistant microscope.
The OLYMPUS SZX51 configuration also specifies 10× wide-angle eyepieces, a 30° observation angle, 50–76 mm interpupillary adjustment and ±5 D diopter adjustment.
Motorized focusing
Fine focus,
controlled by foot.
Refine focus without moving your hands to the focusing control. The pedal provides motorized focusing through ±20 mm of travel, for a total range of 40 mm.
Use the rotary knob for continuous manual zoom. The foot pedal is dedicated to focusing, so its function stays consistent across both optical packages.

OLYMPUS SZX51 optical configuration
