Objective Refraction and Keratometry
The ARK-900 auto refractor keratometer is a tabletop instrument for objective refraction and, in the FKR configuration, corneal-curvature measurement. The paired platform is available as an FR refraction-only version or an FKR version with keratometry. Confirm the selected configuration and supplied accessories in the approved quotation.
Refraction Measurement Range
The current configuration data lists a sphere range from -25.00 D to +25.00 D, a cylinder range from -10.00 D to +10.00 D and an axis range from 0° to 180°. The pupillary-distance measurement range is 10-85 mm, and the minimum measurable pupil diameter is Ø2.0 mm. Vertex-distance settings are 0, 12.0, 13.75 and 15.0 mm.
Corneal Measurement for the FKR Configuration
The FKR configuration adds a 5-10 mm corneal-curvature radius range, a 0°-180° principal-meridian axis range and a 2.0-12.0 mm corneal-diameter measurement range. Keratometry is configuration-dependent and is not claimed for the FR refraction-only version.
Display, Printing and Installation
The listed operator display is a 6.5-inch LCD, with a built-in thermal printer and selectable power-saving timers of 1, 5, 10, 20 or 40 minutes of inactivity. Current electrical data is AC 220 V, 50 Hz, 75 VA. Listed dimensions are 255 × 490 × 460-490 mm (W × D × H), and listed weight is 18 kg. Confirm electrical compatibility and installation requirements for the destination market before ordering.
Configuration Checks Before Quotation
Confirm FR or FKR configuration, measuring functions, power version, interfaces, printer paper, standard accessories, documentation language and regulatory scope in writing. Specifications may vary by approved configuration or production batch; this page does not claim 3D automatic tracking, automatic measurement, a stated accuracy or a guaranteed clinical outcome.
ARK-900 Frequently Asked Questions
Is ARK-900 available as both an auto refractor and a keratometer?
The paired platform supports an FR refraction-only configuration and an FKR configuration that adds corneal-curvature measurement. Confirm the selected configuration in the quotation.
What measurements are documented?
The current data covers sphere, cylinder, axis, pupillary distance and minimum pupil diameter. The FKR configuration also covers corneal-curvature radius, principal-meridian axis and corneal diameter.
What should be confirmed before ordering?
Confirm the FR or FKR configuration, power supply, interfaces, accessories, printer consumables, documentation and destination-market requirements in the approved quotation.
